I left the corporate world to become a Virtual Assistant and it was the best career choice I have ever made! People asked me why I changed my career path and

why I chose to become a VA.  What is VA, what kind of work is it and

 what work I actually do?

What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant is an individual who provides professional administrative,

technical, and social assistance to business owners,

professional and contractors remotely.

That is the very basic definition of a VA.

Now I am going to take you deep into my world and tell you

a bit about myself and why I love this career choice.

My name is Lemseince Barranco, eldest in the family,

A sales consultant in a car industry for 3 years and now a VA.

Since the pandemic started, I always think of “what ifs and whys”.

What if this virus will increase and infects a lot of people? What am I going to do? Can I still work? How can I sustain? All that questions with confusions and fears.

But God never fails me. He is there to answer my questions. Someone that is very special to my heart introduced me to FVA (Filipino Virtual Assistance) and that I am very grateful.

Enrolled at FVA and its worth it! Everything you need in assistance is there. FVA is my training ground. I am not this confident without their teachings. My Coach is intelligent and kind. She is willing to help wherever, whenever.

Benefits of a Virtual Assistant

I wear many shoes daily which is something, I never had an opportunity to do before. As a VA, I have had a chance to learn something new and exciting. The possibilities of VA are endless and the skills I learn are not limited to just one industry.

I get to work from home, which has benefited me a lot. I do not have to worry to commute, I am safe, and I have more time with my family.

Patience, Dedication and being positive are the key to a successful career as a Virtual Assistant. It is a huge responsibility and one that requires attention, management, and organization. I am grateful for this because it opens more door for possibilities and opportunity!
